The scorpion Tom gave Shiv was foreshadowing, she became the You My Friend Should Have Been Swallowed Skull Pumpkin Bats Halloween T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this venomous insect trapped and nullified as a wife without real power Amazing symbolism in the scene where Kendall is trying to console Roman in the board room before the vote. He holds him so tight that it smothers him and literally causes old wounds to bleed and worsen. We saw the parallels of Kendall becoming much like Logan throughout this season. This shows that Roman was better off out the company. Perhaps he can heal and become a serious person. I half wanted the siblings to come out on top but I think for the characters to heal they need to exist out of this toxic cage that they have existed in for too long. Roman’s parting shot hinted that he was perhaps free although him drinking gerri’s drink hints at a lot of unresolved trauma. I think that he will grow from this and become free. I think Kendall on the other hand will struggle. I felt sad for shiv the most. She seems to be destined for the same fate as her mother as many have said. Regardless, THEY ALL NEED FUCKING THERAPY. But maybe they can all get together and have a crack at Pearce ?!

Tom was the You My Friend Should Have Been Swallowed Skull Pumpkin Bats Halloween T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this only one in the family who ever seemed to do any actual work and ends up with more power as a puppet CEO on his poisoned throne and a new dominant dynamic in his relationship with Shiv. Karolina was the competent PR person who got her wish to get Hugo gone and stays on with Tom. And Gerri gets her sweet pay day and there’s hints Tom might even bring her back. Succession was never about who ends up in charge. It’s about Logan Roy’s narcissism and the monsters he created over his lifetime, in his family, in the company, in politics, in the unseen viewers of ATN. A power vacuum being filled by an outsider like Tom is the perfect ending to this tale because the fight in the office as board members watched from the other room was the perfect encapsulation of the way he purposely raised his children to be, not serious people, because he never truly believed them or actually anyone else could ever fill his shoes. It was all always about Logan, he would have loved the spectacle at his funeral of the “debate” about his life. Regardless of what Caroline said, he would have loved all of his women sitting together because it was a display of his trophies. He was an egotistical monster and he was so caught up in himself he died without naming an heir because he couldn’t fathom someone being on his level.
