I was moved by the Why I Lose at Pickleball Humor Pickleball Lovers Player T-Shirt in contrast I will get this home video scene of Logan and his “pals” enjoying the company of one another and entertaining with songs and skits as the kids watch the screen riveted. Whatever charm, peace of mind and gravitas Logan had (“he was comfortable in this world” as Kendall said) it is obvious the kids don’t have it. In a world of bickering and betrayal, the true power of camaraderie, loyalty and just being present and satisfied in the moment get so diminished. I think that is why they were so affected by the video — realizing that maybe they inherited his bad traits but none of the good ones. I have seen old photos/videos of grandparents and aunts/uncles laughing around the table, unbothered by the rest of the world, and had similar existential feelings about what it all really means. It was also interesting to have Conor in that video taking part in the camaraderie. Logan put him on the spot and he hit his mark, a small gesture building true confidence and self esteem. Fitting, as Conor seems to have a different (better?) sense of himself and his worth than the other siblings.

And also it was great writing how seamlessly the Why I Lose at Pickleball Humor Pickleball Lovers Player T-Shirt in contrast I will get this Tom CEO pick came together. Tom being an easy to manipulate, empty suit ready to turn a blind eye to corporate mischief, Shiv and Matsson’s flirty but disciplined alliance, Shiv’s history of Logan promising her the CEO position then reneging, and a bunch of other threads collide, and so of course Matsson is gonna pivot last minute to pick Tom as his sadistic pain sponge, salivating at the thought of him and Shiv captive in his next set of blood brick mental games. It just makes sense. The sibling brawl mid board room vote is insane on rewatch. Just a complete disgrace it gets violent especially with Shiv pregnant. Everyone who saw it got full confirmation all three of them are a lost cause without their dad and shouldn’t be given power. They had days to get on the same page and still let it spill over dramatically. The old guard watches on in the background through glass walls in unsurprised, but disappointed shame.
