So yeah, while people often think the Wheres Kevin Shirt In addition,I will do this logic of the truth that always lies somewhere in the middle sounds wise and intelligent, it’s actually one of the biggest lies anyone has ever told to either themselves or anyone else. Centralist are just wishy washy libs basically. Even worse than the real thing because they think they are different Because the loudest people on both sides see you as part of the other. “If you’re not with me, you’re against me” type of mentality. -A belief that centrists are on the fence on every single matter that there could possibly be, which isn’t true What the left hears: “Yeah you guys are alright, but the evil transphobic racist Nazis also make some good points.” What the right hears: “Yeah you guys are alright. But the evil people who want the state to perform sex change operations on children, take all your money and property, and make it illegal for you to question them make some good points too.” It’s offensive agreeing with some points on one side and some on the other. It’s offensive seeking for a middle ground and not making noise or joining the noise out there. If you’re not making noise, do you even have an opinion? You have to remember that this is reddit and some forces have a vested interest in seeing us divided and fighting. Being moderate doesn’t help that happen, if you’re not all the way on one side you might actually be reasonable about something and not play the us vs them game. The easiest way to avoid this is to make “them” anyone who doesn’t completely agree with you.

Because when people buy in hard to an idea, they tend to take any slight implications that they might be wrong as a personal attack on their intelligence. The audacity of someone who might want to look at a situation from all angles rather than blind faith based on what the Wheres Kevin Shirt In addition,I will do this people around them say is threatening. Blaming the left for this one even though there are issues on both sides. The left thinks that the center is far right and that the left is just normal behavior. Because of course the way I think is the way everyone should. The left will cite other countries with left leaning policies and say “see, it’s normal” while ignoring all differences between those countries and the US that prevent left wing politics from happening. It’s really not, you’re just being over saturated by a vocal minority (which is common on the internet). Statistically the vast majority of people are moderate conservative or moderate liberal. Very few people are actually very extreme politically.
