A similar thing happened to my husband. The company promoted him but like, kind of on a trial “grooming for management” basis. They told him the UCF Knights Bounce House vintage shirt in addition I really love this same thing about getting the title change and pay raise later, and I had the same skepticism. It was several months later, but they DID give him the title and the pay raise. It wasn’t retroed but they gave him a bonus on top of it. I’d get everything in writing: how long this promotion will be without a pay raise, what benchmarks are expected before the pay raise, what the pay raise will be, will it be retroactive (if you do all the additional work and meet expectations no reason not to be retroactive), and what will happen if you don’t meet expectations.

They will never, ever, never give you a raise you’ll be happy with and you’ll have to fight for that. Unfortunately, you’ll have to accept and start looking for a new job. Especially since they sent someone unfamiliar with your branch to help out, it’s time to lay out the UCF Knights Bounce House vintage shirt in addition I really love this “restructuring plan” with them and push for changes that’ll make your department operate better. This way, not only can you nail your manager spot, but you can even step up to take the director role. Emails would be strongly advised to keep everything accountable, even if they’re insisting on calling. After a phone call, just send a polite recap email, highlighting all the key points or promises made. If you’re able to pull that off, not only will you get a massive pay raise, you’ll also be in complete control of your department structed to how you want it. It’ll be harder to fling you loose on the drop of a hat.
