I would be grateful if we could schedule a meeting to discuss this matter in detail. During the Tyler Switalski West Virginia University cartoon 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this meeting, I would like to understand the timeline and criteria for evaluating my performance and salary adjustments. Additionally, I am open to any feedback or suggestions you may have regarding my role and how I can continue to contribute to the growth and success of the company. Please let me know a convenient time for you, and I will ensure my schedule is adjusted accordingly. I am eager to have a constructive conversation that will help us align on expectations and pave the way for continued professional development. I’d suggest making the date like 2 to 4 weeks from now, probably closer to 4. In the meantime, send your resume out a bit and shop around for offers in similar roles. Also see if you can take the guy who got fired out for dinner or a beer and see if he’ll share his previous compensation with you or what he thinks the compensation for the role you’re taking on should be. “Comfort” is extremely subjective, and they’re more likely than not going to fuck you over by subjectively not being comfortable yet with your results.

At the Tyler Switalski West Virginia University cartoon 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this very least if you want to take the dangling carrot in front of your face, get a clear defined finish line in writing, be it at a fixed date, or by giving fixed deliverables. Fuck this “comfort” bullshit, and fuck them for even suggesting that. Ideally already look for a different job in your spare time. I would take it, then update the resume and LinkedIn with new title, let that sink in for a while and start applying for new roles based on new title. Do not take on responsibility without additional compensation, period. Even if you have it in writing that they will provide “in the future” they can string you along. If you are doing the work you should be paid for it. Also the last thing you want to do is start the new position as a pushover, they will always add more to your plate if they think they can get away with it. Go in ready with the amount you believe would be needed to make the extra work worth it to YOU. Tell them you aren’t interested in moving up if they can’t immediately start you at that wage. If they won’t, just be polite and say no thank you. My job has done this to me 3 times in the last 2 years. I fell for it the first time and had to step down from the position because they just kept pushing the pay increase back. Now it’s a non-starter every time they try it
