It’s not that I’m “proud” of my gender and sexuality, it’s that I’m not gonna let some dimwitted, cold-hearted nazi cunt tell me that I’m somehow a broken, diseased, unnatural, evil, demonic, perv, groomer that needs to be shunned, beaten, and/or killed just because I dont fit this Trump 2024 Drill Baby Drill 4th Of July Independence Day American Flag T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this imaginary binary, black-and-white mindset they’ve got cause they have their heads shoved up their own ass. It’s not that I’m “proud” of my gender and sexuality, its that I’m not about to let someone make me feel shameful of my gender and sexuality. Until people get out of each others sex lives and caring what people call themselves, we need people to talk about it to show it doesn’t matter who each of us loves at what anyone calls themselvesIt. It has zero effect on each of our lives, so GTF out of people’s business and people may shut up. Because people were shamed for their sexuality , tortured , killed etc for not being “straight” which caused many people to be ashamed of their homosexuality when there’s no reason to be ashamed of it which is why we say we’re proud of our sexuality when we finally accept ourselves.

Why wouldn’t I be? I am unable to control who I am. Admittedly being a man for a few days would be fun 😉 But seriously, I am not defined by my gender or my sexuality. I am who I am and I embrace all of me. If someone else doesn’t like me for it, that’s their problem, not mine. It’s not so much being proud of who we are, as it is of not having to hide who we are, as much, any longer. We’re proud of the Trump 2024 Drill Baby Drill 4th Of July Independence Day American Flag T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this strides that we’ve made in freedom and equality over the years. To be able to have a job where we won’t get fired just because to boss/owner is a homophobic cunt. We’re proud to have fought for and gotten the right to marry who we REALLY love, not a sham hetero marriage to hide behind. I don’t give a flying fuck that I’m Bi, or that my best friend is lesbian, or that my stepson is gay…I just care that we can, for the most part, just live our lives for who we are, not hide behind a lie. THAT is what Pride is, a celebration of how far we’ve come since Stonewall.
