Could probably say something like “I’ve been planning this for almost a full year. I an happy to work with the Top texas For Trump american flag political Shirt Also,I will get this business when it needs something different from me, but the business also has to work with me on something, too.” Employment is a mutually beneficial contract between the employer and employee. It can’t just be a one-way street. 100% Employers treat people like this because we as a society have let them get away with it for so long. And now that people are standing up for themselves and walking away from bad jobs or letting themselves get fired, they’re being cast as the villains who “don’t want to work” Stop discussing this with your employer. Doesn’t matter if you’re friends. You said you’re on vaca on these dates. Actually your employer sounds like a whiny, sniveling, immature a-hole. Take more vacations & get a life. Whether or not he suddenly needs you, you’ve had this vacay planned for MONTHS and he was well apprised of it. Now it’s a case of “sorry, señor manager, i told you MONTHS ago, and it was approved. I’m telling you again, i will not be here, that’s your issue, not mine. I’m not a cog in your machine. I am HUMAN.”

Your title threw me off tbh. Your boss is telling you that you might not be able to go on YOUR vacation?!? The audacity fr. It’s your vacation and you informed your boss that you will be on vacation and not at work. It’s their problem to figure it out if something important comes up during that time. Tell your boss you are going on your vacation and it’s nonnegotiable whether you go or not. “My boss is also a great person, he and I are good friends now even outside of work so I don’t get why he has to make my life hard right now haha.” If my friend knew I had a vacation (not even considering how important this is to you by circumstance) and they tried to tell me “guess what, you cant go because I have power over you, you have to work a project that I planned over your vacation time” I wouldn’t feel like they were my friend at all. This is literally what your boss is doing. You gave MORE than enough notice. There is one rule to all of life. Adapt or die. You gave him every chance to adapt to this bright shining obstacle. He seems to be purposefully choosing the Top texas For Trump american flag political Shirt Also,I will get this alternative. Not your problem. He owns this.
