It really bothers me that so many commenters are promising OP that it will be no big deal, major privilege showing. Thanks! I was told when seeking legal advice… that in my state I will be booked first if I turn myself in and ‘likely’ strip searched. They refused to say how likely and comment further on it so I asked here If it’s something that can be handled immediately, they’d rather do that than the Time Bender Leave Your Mark on History T-Shirt In addition,I will do this full booking process. If it’s somewhere with a judge or magistrate on site, is it a charge they can just set bail and court date for? You can just call and find out directly. Just make it clear you understand you’ll be thoroughly searched if you are booked into the jail, you just want to know how you can avoid that. Someone will know if they have a magistrate on 24 hours, or if you’d be better off coming in 9-5, if Tuesday morning is slow or if that’s when the on site magistrate is busy AF doing some recurring work.

Thank you so much, now I understand why no one tells me a definite answer. I will try to call and find out, I’m just a little anxious and worried about calling them after avoiding them for 6 months, but I’ll definitely try! Believe me, they have seen and heard far worse. It’s better for everyone, including the Time Bender Leave Your Mark on History T-Shirt In addition,I will do this court, if you call and try to figure out how to deal with the warrant without getting arrested on a traffic stop bc of it. They’re checking to make sure you aren’t bringing drugs and weapons into a secured facility. No one cares about your body. When I had a bench warrant, I went to the court house and spoke to a judge first. They gave me direction how I could still complete the court mandated actions to avoid being arrested. They killed the warrant and then I was allowed to complete the terms of my sentencing within a new set time frame.
