YMMV, of course. Maybe your jail does strip searches as soon as someone walks through the I Want You To Choose Wisely Hat T-Shirt also I will do this door. But if it comes after any processing, posting bail could be your best chance at getting out before the strip search is done. Are we talking a bench warrant because you failed to pay a ticket? Cause then they will likely just process you and bond you out to come back to court. Or did you actually commit a crime and are looking at staying in jail until court? Cause then I’m pretty sure you will be searched. Too many people sneak stuff in and it can be dangerous to allow people in with contraband. I’ve got a warrant as I didn’t show up for court hearing and was ignoring and avoiding them for 6 months… The charges were trespassing and not obeying an order of the police officer, these charges came from me protesting peacefully. Then there is a good chance if you turn yourself in they will process you out. I will say as a nurse who has to see naked people all the time it’s not the highlight of the searchers day and they want to look as little as possible.

You need to show up to court. Had you done so from the I Want You To Choose Wisely Hat T-Shirt also I will do this get go it’s highly likely youd have just been able to get your charges dropped. You haven’t said if this is a crime or just an ordinance violation, if it’s criminal you are entitled to a public defender. If you are being processed into jail then you will be searched, i understand your issues, but they aren’t really looking at your body. However as others have said without understanding the complete facts of the case you very well could just be booked in and out. You usually get to “squat and cough” butt ass naked so they know you dont have anything stashed in the prison wallet I was a Corrections Officer at a State Jail for a little bit and, unfortunately, everyone that got processed got strip searched. I don’t know the specifics of your state obviously, so it may vary as others have said, I’m just sharing what I have experienced. For what its worth, the term strip search makes it sound way more violent and worse than what it was. You undress, squat and cough (for dudes idk about females, but I figure the same roughly) and are given a lice/bedbug shampoo and told to shower, then you’re given you’re jail clothes and mat (if you get one) and taken back to booking. I wish you the very best in your endeavors.
