I can’t believe I scrolled as far as I did for this comment. Being naked in front of someone for a minute who has to conduct multiple strip searches a day and doesn’t give a shit is the Sarcasm and coffee daria T-Shirt and I will buy this least of OPs issues. The whole going to jail part seems way worse than being naked upon intake It sounds like the best way to prepare to yourself is to see a therapist—if it’s possible to get an appointment or two before turning yourself in, I think it would really help. I would let them know that you are fearful of the possibility of an impending strip search, and ask them for specific coping strategies that you can utilize if/when this happens. IF you’re broke, you likely qualify for a public defender. Call your local public defender’s office and see what advice they can give you. Depending on the seriousness of your crime, may bench warrants can be purged by paying whatever fine you owe. If you failed to appear to court, they may or may not release you until you’ve been in front of a judge. There may be ways where they just do a catch and release on you – you appear, pay the fine, and the warrant is quashed. If it’s more serious than that or the judge wants to see you, then you will prob be searched. Sorry I answered in another comment… I didn’t appear in court and basically ignored them for 6 months thus the warrant… and my charges were trespassing and not following police orders. All I did was protesting peacefully

Ignoring doesn’t make a problem go away. And now that problem has come back around, and worse. I think you are going to have to make peace with the Sarcasm and coffee daria T-Shirt and I will buy this fact that strip searching may happen, despite your comfort level. I would suggest in the future to avoid an issue getting this big and just deal with it head on when the consequences are smaller Chances are you are going to get booked to see the commissioner. I would turn yourself in on like a Wednesday, do it late late at night/early morning hours of about 4-5am. You have better chances of being seen by the judge. They will either set your bond or you will be left to sit in jail until your next hearing. Wear many t-shirts, it will be cold. Wear many pairs of underwear. Dress warm and keep your mouth shut, don’t talk to inmates, don’t accept anything from inmates you are being processed with. If you have medications you take, you will have to pass on them until you are out. Correctional officers are pieces of garbage and treat you less than an animal. Good luck.
