Like you I have been a foundation wearing gal since middle school. Maybe you could start by sheering out your foundation. Also try sheer foundations/ bb / cc creams / tinted sunscreens to get yourself used to looking at bare skin.

i completely ditched foundation and concealer, and instead i started wearing a slightly tinted sunscreen (CeraVe I believe), maybe you can try something like that, very light and weightless without the There’s Some Horrors In This House Halloween Bats Pumpkin T-Shirt in other words I will buy this mess/thickness of the foundation. Or other BB creams, etc. But my favorite is the tinted sunscreen because i would put sunscreen on regardless so it’s nice that it matches my skin tine. This is the best advice I’ve ever heard. I’d agree. And maybe one of the next steps is just concealer on some trouble spots. And of course if anyone has a nice skincare routine to spare… I use neutrogena products for sensitive skin. The Korres Greek yogurt cleanser is my hg! I have sensitive skin prone to congestion and redness and this along with the Beekman 1802 milk drops and bloom cream is a magical combination for me. I hate how expensive the Beekman stuff is but the Korres is pretty reasonable considering how much you get.
