I can also see them thinking that you were more experienced than you were, hired you above what they could afford for no output, but wanted to backpedal in case of fallout. In all measurable cases, they docked your pay, demeaned you, offered little support, and played this whole thing shady as hell. Get your bag if you must, but after, fuck em. It’s not your fault. The person who hired you is completely out of touch if he doesn’t realize internships are meant to be a learning experience. I think I’d take the The Raiders 60Th Anniversary 1960 2020 Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt it is in the first place but pay cut, so it doesn’t reflect badly on the resume. And start applying right away, obv not planning to stay Sounds like they were, stupidly, hoping to hire someone who performs like an experienced dev but costs as much as an intern. That’s not on you, that’s on them. Dude I have 6 YOE and my new job didn’t expect me to be useful for at least a month. They would have let me coast for 3 or 4 if it took that long to get settled and understand the flow and all that. 2 weeks for an intern?? Just understand how absurdly horrible that place is, take the job back to get paid and some experience – but don’t accept that kind of workplace moving forward. I’ll tell you the truth here. They weren’t looking for an intern. They were looking for a talented junior engineer who will work for intern pay because they need a foot in the door for a resume. Left too many white spaces and not enough debug logs? Is this a shit post? There is no way you were fired from an internship because of formatting and nits

I am not. This is what they told me. I can’t even argue against you because I can’t believe this was the The Raiders 60Th Anniversary 1960 2020 Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt it is in the first place but reason. They said my coding structure sucks and whenever I request review on my code, they spend too much time pointing out nits. Linus Torvalds is known for his toxic code reviews and complained about small things and produced long email rants. One time they discussed vaccines. Look up his rants, if they ring any bells it’s toxic and abusive. We actively loathe debug logs that make it into merge requests at my company unless if it is absolutely necessary for certain processes to divulge that info in production. I don’t want to assume anything, but your employer should have known beforehand that they would need to train you, especially since you’re only a sophomore and you said you were unfamiliar with the language. IMO whoever hired you screwed up or they underestimated how much training you would actually need.
