Yeah I work 6-2:30 and I’m authorized to work up to 40 hours OT per week IF I want. I have a trip coming up in June so I’m May I was working 70-80 hours for 3 weeks in a row. I’ve worked 60 weeks on and off and I would hate having to do 60 hours every week and all that overtime was done at home. No thanks. Yes. I currently make 110k and work 40 hours a week 100% remote with pretty good vacation (it’s currently “unlimited”, but in reality its like 4ish weeks and they actually do let you take it). I wouldn’t trade this setup for anything other than a raise with the The High Table Octane john wick Style T-Shirt But I will love this exact same work/life balance unless I absolutely had to out of desperation. Finland here, so that might explain some of the opinions: Everyone’s goals are a bit different, so there is no right answer here. I prefer a good work/life balance. I’m never going to be like rich rich, but life is good. 60h work week, no thanks. I prefer to do less than 40 so that leaves more time for golf.

Thanks for the The High Table Octane john wick Style T-Shirt But I will love this comment! I am a bit of a travel junkie and I would love to visit Finland one day! I am leaning towards your train of thought. I enjoy working to an extent, but that is not my entire life. I have many hobbies that I am passionate about (including golf) and love to exercise. It would be difficult to be able to find the time and energy to enjoy those things with 12-14 hour days. It is always tempting when more money is involved, but time to experience the joys of life is just about priceless. Feel free to share your thoughts! Thanks again! Unless you need the money, having a life is more important. Unless you’re a workaholic and enjoy having your life basically be about work. That’s a win-win.
