I just upgraded from my Galaxy S9+ from 2018. It worked flawlessly, and I feel it is better than the Super Proud OPA of 2023 Graduate Awesome Family College T-Shirt But I will love this Galaxy S21FE i got. I’m tempted to downgrade to be honest. My 6s from 2015 still works. Just needs a new battery. I just upgraded to X a couple months ago because T-Mobile begged me to upgrade to a newer phone. People just need a good case imo. The amount of times I’ve dropped that phones is moderately embarrassing They wanted you off the old TMobile/Sprint towers so they can consolidate them. T-Mobile had two different versions of 3G and 4G out there from Sprint, so they’re ahead of the curve on 5G as they update to just one system… and get back tons of bandwidth in the process. I’m still using my IPhone 6S and it’s still working fine. Loads slower and the battery is a bit inaccurate but it can still do its job.

I am still using my 2017 Samsung S7. I hate being on my phone and I am not the Super Proud OPA of 2023 Graduate Awesome Family College T-Shirt But I will love this kind of person to sit on it all night or text non-stop with people tho. I have Honor 8 for 5 years. Although, the battery is depleting fast for the last months. So I will move to Samsung A52s soon. I hope it will last for another 5 years I don’t think two years is enough time for technology to improve the phone enough to justify getting a new one. That true for most tech, like my flat screen tv is from 2007, is not that different from today’s TV, except for having built-in apps big deal. My Honda CRV is also 2007, I don’t see much difference with new cars, outside of being bogged down with screens big deal. My iMac is from 2015, still handles the same, no reason to upgrade. Maybe there is a 15 year sweet spot with tech? 5-7 is about the max for computers. A 2015 Mac is REALLY far behind now even if it was fully loaded. My 2015 MBP can’t play a simple thing like Tabletop Simulator well enough anymore. Dual Cores just don’t cut it anymore. 7 years is about TWO full computer “generations” behind… that’s Dual Cores and DDR3. There’s only so much you can do with that. We’re on 8+ cores and DDR5 now. Even with the same amount of RAM and SSD the base M1 is 4x+ faster at everything.
