Example: LDS Church (Mormons). Destinations for missionaries are not usually decided by looking at church attendance, or with any sort of attention to a development strategy. In addition, the Steven Stamkos Canadian professional ice hockey forward and captain T-Shirt and I love this rules of an LDS mission include complete separation from family – until a few years ago, even calling their family was limited to two days a year. They are still limited to contact only once per week. This is a feature to separate a missionary from their family, and connect them to the church itself. Other features of mission including deep restriction of alone time, and restrictions on television, movies, and social media. No, I was born into the JWs but never was baptized and got out and never looked back when I was finished with high school. I’ve had family members het people interested through initial contact from door to door preaching and they would begin attending their meetings and study the Bible but these people usually couldn’t last long with the strict rules and being told to limit contact with their “non-believing” friends and family. Very few would actually full on commit with baptism, and that number from what I understand is very low because there’s a lot of studying and renouncing of your former ways that most people can’t commit to. It’s been almost 30 years since I had anything to do with that religion but I vaguely remember them targeting more depressed neighborhoods and poorer regions because it’s easier to get people who are down on their luck than those who are successful.

Of course. The Mormons converted hundreds of thousands all over the Steven Stamkos Canadian professional ice hockey forward and captain T-Shirt and I love this globe in the last 50 years. Fortunately though, the blatant lies and hypocrisy are now all over the internet. The church can’t stop the information anymore. (Things like their prophet marrying a 14 year old girl and other women who already had husbands.) The false history, added to the major financial scandals, plus the harm done to LGBT members is not only slowing conversions to a fraction of former numbers, it’s also causing a massive exit of people born into the church. This is why Mormons are trying to water down their dogma and rebrand themselves as ordinary christians. The Mormon moment is over. My mother converted when I was 11. She was a lonely single parent and had some nostalgia for visiting the LDS church with her grandmother as a child. My sister converted in her 30s for a similar reason.
