It’s a forum on Reddit , different people have different interests. Meditation is a big topic that has attracted lots of wide spread interest and individuals. Meditation is a rabbit hole as well. Some people focus on different parts of the Smell Of Female Lux Interiors Legacy The Cramps Punk Rock Tribute T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this hole, some people look at the whole thing from a distance. There’s no wrong way. There’s a difference between non-judgment and total lack of discernment. The idea that meditation could cure anything is an authentically dangerous thought. It really shouldn’t be tolerated If we want to make any claim to be compassionate people. Also, I feel putting a wall around meditation with keeping individuals from asking odd questions or odd beliefs- out of this forum.. may not help. Where else should they feel safe to talk in a supportive community and learn? This is my opinion.

I don’t think they’re calling for a wall, I think they’re asking for responders to not enable and encourage con artists, psychosis or mania. I come from a family that has a history of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I’ve seen people lose touch with reality and succumb to paranoid delusions right in front of my eyes… I’ve also seen people encourage others to go along with what are clearly manic episodes, which can be incredibly destructive to a person’s life and well being. I’ve seen people encourage others to assume that completely mundane phenomena (seeing colorful lights for example) are some sort of mystical experience without knowing anything about how eyesight or vision works. There are a lot of people who spread misinformation to take advantage of vulnerable and needy people looking for answers. It’s not wrong to want to protect people from being mislead or taken advantage of. I think this is a good point. However, I don’t think OP is going about it the Smell Of Female Lux Interiors Legacy The Cramps Punk Rock Tribute T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this right way. They seem to feel as though they know best, that their vision of what this subreddit should be is the correct one. I would posit it should be more of an open discussion – asking questions like, what is the purpose of this subreddit? What forms of discourse are harmful, and therefore we should push back against? This is great – reframing the issue in a positive and constructive way rather than making people feel unwelcome I began meditation practice a couple of months before my first psychotic episode. I didn’t know that I was having one. Luckily, I had just started studying under highly educated Tibetan monks (a couple of them were doing joint studies with Emory University, that sort of thing). The meditation and spiritual practice actually just barely kept me under control throughout the long process of identifying and treating schizoaffective disorder. I have no idea what would have happened if I hadn’t had guidance.
