The difference with an au pair is what you pay them, is on top of free room and board, transportation, phone, and many of your bills paid by them, so that money stretches FAR further than you’d expect. I used to work with a guy who got “imported nannies” as his other co workers jokingly called them. An au pair, professionally employed through an agency, is paid $200/week + room + food + 2 weeks paid vacation. And that’s a good thing if it works for you! It sounds like you serve a warm and caring family. It’s really not my point that you can have these experiences too. But I think you know that there are not just nice families out there. And if you got one of them they can treat the Skull Metallica Oregon Ducks Flag Shirt and I will buy this AP as they want to. Thanks! I think for career nannies and experiences au pairs, you slowly learn how to vet families that you gel with and get slowly “absorbed” into being just another community member.

I think working for a family that is always kind, relaxed, and everyone likes each other is what I need to be a successful nanny. Politically, they are a bit neoliberal and I’m a hard left. Which is a solid mix as well. They let me educate the Skull Metallica Oregon Ducks Flag Shirt and I will buy this kids on politics from multiple angles and teach about how to support the working class as future leaders that are highly connected high upper class. It can be weird watching their childhood knowing that they both have a ton of opportunities to be extremely powerful and successful people someday. So I think working for a wealthy family that allows me to keep the kinds humble and socially educated is helpful as well. I don’t think a very religious trump supporter that was yells/snaps would fit in well with my nanny family. I think they would get in conflicts and be resentful.
