The riddles were predictable and Batman just felt extremely slow. It was just atrocious. In The Dark Knight, the Joker and Bruce both felt intelligent (with the exception of “let her go” haha) . It just felt like the Joker was a step ahead of Bruce every step of the way. In this movie, The Riddler just felt like a semi intelligent figure while Bruce felt like a completely dense moron. The movie had no redeeming qualities for me. It’s right up there with Batman forever for worst Batman movie ever made in my opinion.

He just walked slowly toward a guy with a gun for christ sake and then he’s shocked that he actually gets shot! How bulletproof he was in the movie irked me. He was always elusive and had to fight smart when out gunned. Now he just eats bullets like Superman unless the movie makes him incapacitated from one for the sake of the plot. Making Batman a dumb tank that LOUDLY stomps out of the shadows, voluntarily lets himself get surrounded multiple times and eats 30+ close-range, high-caliber rounds over the course of the movie is getting the highest praise I’ve ever seen on Reddit and I simply cannot understand it Batman has never been a tank (except when he gears up to fight supes or supervillains). This is like bizarre fan fiction.
