And his biggest enemies weren’t these amazing epic boss fights. Just a determined, smart and well trained guy fighting a gangs of bad guys. I feel like those certain limitations made every fight scene more epic when we could understand his physical limits. Similar to Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. Just another determined fighter. The Riddler’s weird Lemongrab impersonating a Nicolas Cage meltdown at the Ron Howard Remembers Andy Griffith Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this end… ? Did not do it for me. Movie also could’ve easily been 2 hours long. Eh it was ok-ish. Definitely weaker than any of Nolan movies. I was begging for this movie to end. Way too long. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but…I was bored! The movie is simply boring. It’s a mystery movie with no hook. Who cares who the rat is? Who cares who the main bad guy is? It’s just turns out to be monsters and bad cops but we aren’t invested at all to these characters so anybody could have been the main baddie. Two actions sequences shot in the dark and the rain are too short and not exciting at all. Wow….another car chase with a bat mobile that looks like it’s part of a fast and furious movie. Another fight scene where not one bad guy can figure out that they can just shoot him the face….another villain who lets himself get captured but this time for no reason whatsoever. And a hint at the next film, when the dumb asses who run AA put the riddler next door to a guy who laughs a lot. Wonder who that is….

im losing my mind, this movie fundamentally flawed yet most people who like it are calling it 10/10 People really want to like things nowadays. Even if they’re shitty. Builds up some really interesting themes and ideas only to toss them aside for a “flood the Ron Howard Remembers Andy Griffith Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this city” big action set piece! 10/10 writing ? Sorry, not sure how to put a spoiler tag on mobile. I feel like I’m going insane. I absolutely love Batman and was extremely excited for this movie! It was just plain bad. The writing felt like a “I’m 14 and this is deep” throughout the whole thing. Batman did not utilize his element of surprise at all, which is how he often takes down large groups or initiates fights. Even the elevator scene at the second last act, he just stood in one spot and took fire instead of moving around the shadows like he should. He just walked slowly toward a guy with a gun for christ sake and then he’s shocked that he actually gets shot! What the hell was that? He didn’t even utilize the surprise of the Batmobile to his advantage. He just waited for Penguin to get into his car!
