Yeah, I don’t think he called in for some dinner. Probably more likely that “a personal friend” lived on that bus route Oh my this has been living in my 14 year old self’s brain for over 20 years and never once did I think he wasn’t getting dinner. You have ruined me! That happened to me once, as a postie. I was being trained on a job, and the Seattle Mariners Autism Awareness Knowledge Power shirt and by the same token and guy training me left me to go and “provide a personal service” to some farmer’s wife. I was sat in the van for about half an hour, just staring at the view. Where I lived buses were supposed to come every 8-10 mins peak times and 10-15 minutes during non peak times (work hours). It got to a point where you would wait 45 -60 minutes for a bus, and then 3 or 4 would turn up. People complained, they blamed it on traffic, school kids, the weather.

We found out that the Seattle Mariners Autism Awareness Knowledge Power shirt and by the same token and drivers were playing poker. They didn’t stop until someone had won the cash. The bus company had to send inspectors to babysit the drivers at the terminal to make sure they went out on time for weeks! Woah, that’s mental. Wonder if that’s what happened in Lancaster last year(!) After I left uni there, I kept in semi-contact with the various social media pages of the uni and those students had set up, and there were countless complaints about buses not turning up, only for – as you say – loads to turn up at once, or drivers being abusive when you pointed this out or for just for no reason at all. This was starting to happen when I left (first half of 2022; can remember one time there must’ve been close to 200 students packed like sardines in the underground bus stop and the stairs leading down to it, me thinking this was a fire hazard/stampede or some form of tragedy waiting to happen), but must’ve gotten worse.
