I have a documented deficiency 🙂 My doctor started with the Santa Fe Klan Rapper Shirt but in fact I love this injections because my B12 level was so low it was on the edge of neurological dysfunction. When it was stable my doctor wanted to see if it remained stable without injections but it wouldn’t. With that he said I need the injections for the rest of my life. i would do this if I could afford it — injections are way too expensive. I had to compromise and buy sublingual drops. I did see sites online offering shots without a doc visit but not sure how trustworthy those are. I’m due for bloodwork but somehow I feel like this won’t be covered by insurance. Fortunately healthcare here is pretty good, almost everything is covered by insurance. Must say I do pay €200 a month for healthcare and another 375 a year for own risk (literal translation, don’t know the English term for it), but I think I can’t complain about that compared to the healthcare in other countries (especially America). Same, but I’m on weekly shots (I self administer). It took almost 8 weeks before my body stopped telling me exactly when I needed my next shot. I would catch myself longingly staring at the bottle, wanting to inject sooner.

My doctor wanted to switch me to a monthly shot after 4 weekly injections, and I begged for more. I can’t even begin to tell you how much better I feel now. When I started I had to do weekly to (I believe 7-8 weeks) after that it became every 2 weeks for a while and eventually 4-6 weeks. Absolute life saver tbh Nutritional Yeast.1 tbsp has 200% dv of B12 along with other B vitamins in the 100%+ and 4g protein. A bag weighing a pound cost $20ish and can easily be snuck into fussy kids’ foods. It was new to me up until 2 months ago, i don’t care for the smell of it dry but it pretty much goes away once added to or mixed with any liquid e.g I sprinkle a good bit on buttered toast along with boiled eggs and i now can’t imagine not… i also fiendishly laugh at my kids while they eat their Bvitamin loaded Kraft dinner, while chanting “yellow pees, yellow pees❗️ eats your kd’s for your yellow pees”
