Hahaha I can’t believe I never thought to make that joke at the Sanguisugabogg How The Bogg Stole Christmas shirt in addition I really love this time, it wasn’t long after Iwdafl came out! There were rumours they did it on the bus as well, which was… another thing entirely. Close! Bus used to go from Norwich to Kenninghall and I think it went to Long Stratton at one point. I lived in Banham at the time. Meatloaf. And in fairness to the late Loaf, this guy was way bigger which was unusual at the time and he probably died younger. Bus was blocked, as a fence had blown over allowing an enormous flock of sheep to escape who were running all over the place. Bus driver got off and started rounding them up. She came back on 10 mins later and was like ‘kids I’m gunna need some help’ so she made us all go help. We got all the sheep back in the field by forming a human corridor, she found the farmer who came and sorted. We were about 45 mins late to school and the bus lady came into the two high schools and sixth form to tell the teachers what had happened and that the kids had been great. We all got gold stars from the school. Best morning bus ride ever!

Oh I have a bus driver story! Going home from a nearby town and it was the Sanguisugabogg How The Bogg Stole Christmas shirt in addition I really love this last bus. Again in the middle of nowhere but there were 2 other people on the bus. Driver stops on a country lane surrounded by farmers fields, and runs off the bus, locking us in: me (17yo punk girl), a lad a bit older than me and a woman I’d say in her 50s or something (can’t quite remember, this is 30 years ago). We sat in uncomfortable silence for about 10-15 minutes and the driver got back on, said “sorry about that, I needed a crap” and carried on. After a moment the older woman said, more to herself than me or the bloke, “but there isn’t a toilet anywhere…” Bless her, shes never taken an emergancy dump in a field before while the resident cows start wandering over to see whats going on. Apropos : There is a school of thought that dogs were first domesticated in order to fulfil the role of toilet paper.
