My family was once selling a three piece sofa via a newspaper ad (25 years ago when that was a thing). We had a man call us and ask us “what number bus?” he should get to our house… When we got over our confusion we had to explain to an adult man that he would probably find it very difficult to transport a three piece sofa back to his home via the Santa Alabama Crimson Tide Make Shit Auburn Tigers Mississippi State And LSU Tigers Helmets Christmas shirt What’s more,I will buy this bus. I advertised a sofa for free on Facebook marketplace ‘collection only’. A woman turned up to get it on foot with a pushchair that she thought she could load it onto! A pushchair!! Luckily my husband was home and said he’d drop it at hers in the car. I can’t drive, which is why I’d said collection only. That tangentially reminds me of our old neighbours (we’re all telling random stories here so fuck it). They were a lovely young couple, but hopeless at “adulting”. Anyway, they moved back home to their parents’ houses in a village about 6 miles away. He had a bicycle. It was quite a nice one, worth some money.

They didn’t have a car or much else in the Santa Alabama Crimson Tide Make Shit Auburn Tigers Mississippi State And LSU Tigers Helmets Christmas shirt What’s more,I will buy this way of possessions, so I’m not quite sure how they moved house, but his bike was left out in the shared landing. I asked him what’s happening with your bike? And he said he didn’t have any way of taking it to his mum’s house, so he was just gonna leave it there, and anyone could help themselves to it. He offered it to me. I said to him “it’s literally a transportation method in itself, you can just cycle it there!” But he wasn’t interested, said it was too dangerous. In the end I threw it in the back of my car and delivered it. When I told his mother who I was and why I was delivering it, her eyes rolled so far back I thought she was gonna have an aneurysm lol. Lazy bastard. I once saw an older guy trying to move a refrigerator on his mobility scooter. Was going quite well until he tried getting up a dropped kerb and toppled into a busy road.
