Might not be ugliness – don’t be so hard on yourself. I worked with a man once who refused to talk to females (because he believed they were beneath him). Which was an issue as his job required him to talk to me. He got moved on after several warnings. I worked in a call centre that was all women except me and another dude. We had to take calls on from other staff all the Saint Nic Christmas Nicholas Cage shirt Furthermore, I will do this time because another nasty old codger was on the phone refusing to speak to a woman and being an arsehole with them. They wanted a man because “they know what they’re doing”. I don’t know about the other guy, but I used to be incredibly awkward and make whatever they called in for far more difficult and time consuming than it needed to be to piss them off more. More shocking was the amount of bitter old women that used to act the same. Like, surely you think better of yourself than that, ya old hag.

Finally a place to share this! In the Saint Nic Christmas Nicholas Cage shirt Furthermore, I will do this 1990s in south Norfolk, I used to get the bus to college from my little village. It took over an hour for what would have been a 25 minute car ride. One of the bus drivers looked like a certain now deceased rock star, and we called him that. He used to stop the bus outside the house of a woman he was having an affair with, which was just before my village, go in and presumably have sex with her, then get back on the bus and continue the route as if nothing had happened. This had apparently been going on for a while and continued for some time that I was at college. Eventually her husband and possibly his wife found out as did the bus company and he was sacked. I think one of the other drivers on the route was the wronged husband. It was wild really; so blatant and literally everyone on the bus knew! It’s clear he would do anything for love… but when the husband came home he was out of there like a bat out of hell.
