Get out of your own head. Would you like a goodbye lunch or not. Don’t fret over who will come or what not. If that doesn’t sound good to you then don’t. Move forward p Yeah sorry I think you have to attend this. Put a good face on and have 45mins of awkward small talk — it’s free lunch. It’s a free lunch with only people who actually like you showing up? Why are you concerned with people you think are toxic not being there? Is that not ideal? Don’t worry about low turnout. If someone is so petty that they won’t show up for free lunch out of spite, then they are not worth keeping in touch for future opportunities anyway. It’s your party.. Enjoy.. After your party, you never have to see your ex co-workers again.. If it sucks, take your cake and leave.. People are saying you should take it for the Same Old Energy Rise Up A Flame Come Join The Game shirt Furthermore, I will do this free lunch. The problem is that the people who treated you poorly will also get a free lunch – rewarding them for bad behavior. Let you boss know you appreciate the offer and would prefer one on one time so you can ask for career guidance. Or something like that. Get YOUR free lunch, spend meaningful time with someone who can help your career and let those losers eat at their desks. Let the people who will miss you appreciate you for what you did! That could be the best gift you give them on your way out.

Same Old Energy Rise Up A Flame Come Join The Game shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I refused my coworkers to host me a farewell lunch after 13 years. The coworkers in my case I was cool with but management can fuck off and I straight up didn’t want to pretend to enjoy their company and told them directly “I appreciate the Same Old Energy Rise Up A Flame Come Join The Game shirt Furthermore, I will do this offer, but I will not be attending the lunch-in as it goes against my wishes for my exodus”. Fucking management did it anyways and the guest of honour was no where to be seen. They do it for themselves. For weeks I told them don’t do it, I don’t want it. They did it anyway so when they booked it I took a vacation day that they wouldn’t refuse because it would be 1 less day they have to buy back when I left in the days to come. I’d do it and then order the large King Lobster with golf-leaf rubbed Chilean Sea Bass and a bottle of their top-paired wine. Jokes on them.
