The prosthetics for The Penguin were flawless. My gf went to school for movie makeup and when he first came on screen she leaned over and said “holy shit!” The Riddler was very effective for me. He was scary in a way that was too real for me and genuinely made me uncomfortable. Most disturbing Villain yet. Did anyone see the Russian warship moskva has sunk support Ukraine shirt moreover I love this name of the bodega at the beginning “good times”? Felt like a reference to rob’s other movie Judging from this thread I’m the only one who didn’t like the first five minutes, I thought that monologue was pretty corny. But other than that I loved just about everything else. The acting was absolutely amazing, and they managed to write a compelling mystery with great characters. Even though I’m not sure about having another Joker, I’m pumped for a sequel.

Russian warship moskva has sunk support Ukraine shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

After rewatching it, I’m convinced the Russian warship moskva has sunk support Ukraine shirt moreover I love this opening and closing monologues were added because they wanted to make it very clear to the audience that this is a hopeful movie, not a “dark” one (tonally). The first 15 minutes lets you know this is a Batman (and world) that’s entirely different from any we’ve seen on screen. This movie tries to do many different things: it’s a crime drama, police procedural, psychological thriller and superhero movie and it successfully brings all those genres together as a solid film. All of the main cast, Penguin, Catwoman, Falcone, are completely fleshed out characters with motivations and goals. Things are done and shown with Batman himself here that never has: the fact that he actually blacks out from physically traumatic events (the collar bomb explosion and chest shot in the climax) and actually carries adrenaline shots for emergency situations of total energy depletion. Catwoman plays an integral role in the entire plot and the Bat and Cat relationship is as real, believable, and earnest as it gets.
