I enjoyed this film, lots of promise if it is to be the PtI Pakistan support freedom I stand with imran khan shirt What’s more,I will buy this first part of a Pattinson series Gloomy and dark doesn’t equal profound Riddler was not used as effectively as he could’ve been. I thought there was some grand mystery plan, but then in the third act he just wants to blow shit up (?) Home style videos of riddler reminded me of the Dark Knight and at times made me wish I were watching that instead Virtually no Bruce Wayne in this film Virtually no Alfred in this film (you hired Andy Serkis ffs — use him!!) Why the goofy Catwoman/Falcone family drama? — came across silly and soap opera Why was catwoman into Batman in any way?? The fuck?? He could barely mumble a word and she’s like all over him lol

One of the PtI Pakistan support freedom I stand with imran khan shirt What’s more,I will buy this coolest moments in the movie of the car coming through the fire (great sequence overall) I already knew was going to happen which reduced the impact of that a little bit but that’s totally on me Jeffrey Wright is incredible and I like watching him in literally anything I agree with most of this but especially the whole third act “I want to blow up Gotham” sequence. The first half of the movie was (relatively) grounded and a detective Batman trying to figure out the clues. Riddler seemed to have a motive of killing the people that were part of Gotham’s corruption problem. He had at least a reason to do what he did. But the Riddler just decided to drown Gotham because he’s now a livestreamer incel that wants to kill everyone? He wants to save Gotham while also kill all the civilians? Sure he’s also crazy and that’s why he ended up in Arkham but I was expecting a more ambiguous evil Riddler like the first half instead of an evil for the sake of evil villain in the third act. Was as good as the Nolan Batmans (if not better), I liked the stripped down feel, until two things made it mediocre cape shit: Thomas Wayne being corrupt was a good twist but they immediately pulled that punch. “Oh no, don’t worry, he just went to the mob boss with vague intentions and immediately went to the cops after”. Weak shit. Roll with it.
