The Riddler spent 3/4ths of the Pug wearing Turkey fall autumn thanksgiving shirt so you should to go to store and get this movie exposing decades old corruption and schemes and it immediately turns into “Actually he’s evil and the new mayor is good for some reason and he’s gonna kill her (after flooding the city) with a crazy scheme”. Again, roll with it. Let the Riddler out Batman Batman then turn evil when he still gets locked up, or something. I dunno, they were close to greatness but flubbed it. The Batman hits HBO next month. Don’t waste your money seeing it in theaters. A great cast portraying great characters absolutely wasted on a bad script and terrible direction. It’s also got a ton of bad character logic and plot holes. And under all that, the movie was just boring. I can’t think of a memorable moment aside from maybe one. There was also no reason for this movie to be THREE HOURS. I don’t mind long movies when it makes sense, but it did not work. Sorely disappointed. It wasn’t interesting or compelling enough to be a murder mystery, and not exciting enough to be a super hero movie. The plot was painfully generic. The comparisons to Zodiac and Seven are insulting to those two fantastic movies.

Amazing atmosphere and score though. Riddler: I couldn’t possibly get Falcone out in the Pug wearing Turkey fall autumn thanksgiving shirt so you should to go to store and get this open Falcone: was at a very public funeral I still don’t get the Selina Falcon part, does he know she is his daughter or not. I thought he did but then when she pull the gun she’s says I’m what ever her names daughter do you even remember her. How would he know she’s his daughter but not know who her mother is, I get she’s been dead a few years but you do generally remember the mother of your child, even if she was just a fling. Yeah it felt to me like he just knew her as a pretty girl from the club, yet I thought the father twist hinged on that not being the dynamic and that he was just nice to her in the club because he knew and yet despite that hadn’t been there for her as a kid. Ngl I hate that the dialogue kept going after “hey dad?” If she’d shot him right as he turned there it woulda been really fun (lol at her repeatedly not shooting the guy that kept bothering her while she hunted him)
