We always did get plenty of praise for plenty of seating. Whenever I rent, I stare at the Phil Leotardo I Did 20 Fucking Years T-Shirt it is in the first place but living room and outside furniture a lot. It might say “sleeps 8” but then they have one uncomfortable cheap loveseat. An amazingly lot of people have nowhere for luggage, and luggage is absolutely disgusting. You roll it around an airport, over asphalt, just everywhere, but then people put it on the bed because it has nowhere else to go? yuck But if you don’t stay in your own place as a guest you don’t realize what’s missing. And managers and cleaners will just throw things away or not mention it. I was called over once, because a guest said they couldn’t open the sink drain in one bathroom. I called my cleaners who had just left a couple hours before and my lead cleaner said, “oh you know, I always use a knife to open that one, you know how it is.” No I didn’t! It’s so hard to know about everything.

Absolutely! I stay at my own homes because I bought them for me to enjoy first and foremost. And, from experience managing/representing other properties, the Phil Leotardo I Did 20 Fucking Years T-Shirt it is in the first place but homeowners that regularly spend time at their own homes almost always have homes that guests love above the homes that are just an investment. They not only do a better job maintaining/fixing broken items, but their homes usually have more thoughtful touches, desirable amenities and well stocked kitchens. The problem with Airbnb now is that it is filled with corporate owners with a dozen or more properties. It is not a home, it is a business. This is when Airbnb started to fail. I wish someone could open a new business model for only original owners like in the good old airbnb days.
