I use mine occasionally for coming meals and used to sleep overnight a few times. Lately, I ask visiting family and friends to point out things I as the Paulie from homage HBO Series The Sopranos T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this owner,/cleaner would not be aware of. The most insightful thing was my sister saying the toilet paper holder plopped the whole roll I to the toilet when she was standing and tried to get a small piece of TP. Then she says is happened again a during the same visit, so now I know why guests were using a lot of TP. I use Airbnbs regularly. My assumption is that even if the host stays in it, a woman host doesn’t. I’ve only once or twice ever had a socket and a mirror and a hairdryer in the same space. Often I have to move one, or the other, or just dry my hair and then find a mirror. Of course in places other than the UK the hairdryer may be in the bathroom but generally, mirror, socket, flat surface are not together. Does my head in. Also, a multi socket to plug in phones, hairdryers etc.

I would LOVE to have absolute clarity on whether you have a percolator, an espresso machine, a cafetiere or none of those, just a kettle. I need to know what kind of coffee to bring. Some of you say and some of you I have to email first. Cleaning. I always clean up, empty trash leave things tidy. But I’ve stayed in a couple I will not go back to, where the Paulie from homage HBO Series The Sopranos T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this list of cleaning I was supposed to do before leaving is ridiculous. Why am I paying a cleaning charge if you expect me to vacuum and dust? I’ve used trusted House sitters for years so I know how much work it is getting ready for a visitor and yes, some people are complete slobs. But some of us work hard to be good guests and leave the place nice. Please sort out the hairdryer shelf socket mirror situation and coffee listing. Please. As a cleaner my favorite houses are the ones clients spend some time in. I can’t tell you how many I’ve had to make suggestions to the ones that don’t. Example-No one wants to make coffee in your 15yr old yellowed and stained dingy coffeemaker! It can reflect poorly on my cleaning as well as the clients rental. Every year I send a newsletter with overall suggestions so no one takes offense. But come on folks, you have to look at it through the eyes of tenants paying top dollar!
