L O L I am in a wheelchair and my rental isn’t accessible, but I have a “boutique” management company and the Paulie Walnuts Sopranos Gualtieri Tribute Mafia TV Show T-Shirt and I love this co-owner of that company stays there periodically. Nice gig if you can get it, am I right? Lol I get into the parts that I can get into which is the kitchen and dining room, and I can see the living room from there but she takes care of making sure everything is fixed and all that. She and her husband stay there for a night or two and have “workdays“. I am opening a second rental in an apartment over an old barn, and they will be staying there for a couple of nights before I pull the trigger on the listing. when we rented our home out, we had a small list from vrbo (who we rented out with first) of things we might not think of that make it nice for renters: kleenex, ironing board, and staying in our own rental home at least once a year. The ironing board was startling since I know no one who uses one regularly, but lots of people do on vacation because those trips are often for weddings, graduations, etc.

I made such an effort at first cleaning out and depersonalizing things I missed a few things, or over corrected. Like I wanted everything to match, so I put 10 white mugs in the Paulie Walnuts Sopranos Gualtieri Tribute Mafia TV Show T-Shirt and I love this cupboards and stored away all our mismatched fun mugs. But when I came back to stay and had people over, I realized having all white mugs makes it next to impossible for people to remember which one is there’s. So I brought back the colorful interesting mugs. But listening to our renters helped me realize things they wanted I didn’t care about (like a grill outside – we never use one, and the listing said we didn’t have one, but our first three groups all said – I know you said you didn’t have one, but we were still disappointed not to have one on vacation). Oh, and I was surprised how much the laundry room was used even for a 3 day stay, so I was happy to add laundry bags and a couple baskets to make carrying things around easier.
