Apparently I’m the only one that thinks so, I guess I’m just sensitive, but I bought a foam topper for my side of the bed and it stays there year round. I also hate the dining table, that was purchased about 16 years ago and is meant to be an outdoor patio table. It’s wood, so it’s made well, but it’s too big for the space, the chairs are huge, and they’re uncomfortable. My in-laws did a survey a few years ago, asking all the renters what they’d like (#1 request was wi-fi, followed by a Keurig. They got the wifi.) I filled one out and asked for a new dining table, I think I disguised my handwriting well enough, they never mentioned it to me

The living experience for a few days is key because if it’s not good enough for you, it’s not good enough for a guests. I host as well as guest and honestly as a guest I’ve stayed in so many subpar places that looked nice of the onset but were missing little details.
