You get paid for the My Student Are Strong Love Creative Brave Teacher Valentines Day Positive Affirmations Candy Hearts T-Shirt and I will buy this duration of work irrespective of the clock. I was one place where the system basically had to shut down for tracking purposes for an hour. It was cheaper to do something else for an hour than pay to reprogram everything. Was mostly driven by thee Europe and us schedule for summer time being different and server sitting in Europe but plant in US. You know who really gets the shit end of this? Bartenders. In my state bar close isn’t until 2:30am. Everyone knew there was ‘an extra hour of drinking’ that night and would let loose. But they did not force us to close an hour early when the clocks moved forward, so people also went hard for that evening also. The bartenders never get their time back- I did get paid for those hours though!

In the My Student Are Strong Love Creative Brave Teacher Valentines Day Positive Affirmations Candy Hearts T-Shirt and I will buy this NHS you work it and you don’t get paid for it nor get the hour back. Crack on as normal. Make sure your documentation is correct. Curse the people who get the opposite Night Shift when the clocks go forward. We got paid the extra hour when I worked nights. Evened out in the spring when we got paid for 11 hours. Not a big deal really. I worked payroll years ago. You would be paid the hours you actually worked. We were authorised to -1 or +1 depending on the situation – so long as the staff member got paid what they worked. When I was in the Navy and we were transiting the Pacific the time changes would be built into the watch schedule. Traveling westbound you have to add an hour, which would be done during the second dog watch (1800 – 2000) so at 1900 it would become 1800 again. Made the nice little two hour watch three hours long, but no biggie. Heading eastbound you advance clocks, so we’d shorten the mid-watch (0000 – 0400) from four to three hours.
