the My Dachshund Is My Spirit Animal Shirt Additionally,I will love this cost of their share of the bills (gas elec council tax food) which represents the absolute minimum they could hope to spend in the real world In reality you can’t expect to prepare them by charging exactly what the world will charge them, it stops them saving (I know you said you’re saving this money for them too) it will depress the shit out of them and keep them in your house for longer. But by charging something with a bit of a connection to reality, it’s a stepping stone. Plus you help them understand the value of things “shit Sky TV is HOW MUCH?” “Dad don’t buy Pepsi just get the store brand one” etc when they have a choice and associated cost. Also let them enjoy life a little too, they’re in the Goldilocks zone of having more money than pocket money with less overheads, when they move out they will have fuck all for months/years until they’re settled and calibrated

My mother charged me £500pcm as “board”, which included all bills, food and she even did my washing for me at the My Dachshund Is My Spirit Animal Shirt Additionally,I will love this grand old age of 24. As I’m now paying £1300+ for rent, bills, food etc and doing my own washing I must say it was a pretty sweet deal. When I was earning that kind of money my parents charged me £200 a month including food. Went down to £100 a month when I started saving for house deposit. Which was a touch under 24 months from when I told them that’s what I was doing to when I moved out. I’d estimate the monthly bills (not including rent/mortgage, or council tax as they’re school leaver age), and divide by the number of paying people in the house, and see what that looks like. So under an assumption that you have the two of them, and two adults, I’d go with: water £60, gas/electricity £160, internet and tv subscription £60, food £400 (probably conservative). TOTAL: £680, divided by 4: £170 each.
