Force the Millville high school alumni class of 1967 shirt But I will love this place to be stubborn and shut down and blame us the consumer for their horrible employment practices. If enough of either 1 or 2 happens other locally owned joints will change and hope to catch the customers they lose over it. Yeah no, my wife won’t always check to make sure the tip screen reads zero when she grabs the food. I try to remind her that picking up food to go she needs to always put zero for the tip I ain’t tipping someone who is specifically paid to simply grab my order and bring it to me just pay your fucking employees Was at a Fro-yo place the other day. The ladies there were just standing around. I served myself as expected, go to pay, card reader asked for a tip. I chuckled and quickly tapped no. It’s everywhere! I do my job, but never get tips. How about tips for salaried workers? (Note: I’m being sarcastic.) This is why I try to do drive thru at a place I get breakfast. I hate when I have to go inside to get crappy service. I’m not tipping the counter person. They make a regular wage, not a servers wage. Listen, everyone needs to cut this off right now before the next generation thinks it’s okay.

My local smoothie place uses an app to pay. If you don’t tip they will ask you “Would you like to tip?”. I tip amazing. 20%-30% because I worked in restaurants an a couple extra dollars doesn’t bother me but I restrict it to servers only. Someone making my smoothie isn’t serving me, getting refills, running food, getting me things I ask for. What am I tipping the person for if I’m driving there and going in to pick up my order then leaving with it? I’m sorry, Is you putting my food into containers instead of serving me at a table and constantly coming to the table to check on me worth 15 percent or more of what i paid for the food? 205 more repliesNot sure how every restaurant works but where I work we have people who want boy work the togo area and they do a lot more than just “bag the food”. They make sure the orders are done right and have all the sauces, utensils, etc and they get the bread, portion out the topping for the baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, get the drinks, napkins, and take the food out to are parked in the togo spots. All while making like $3 an hour.
