There are a lot of different kinds of smarts, and having one kind of smarts doesn’t mean having another kind of smarts. We are conditioned in a way to think that smarts as measured in school is what constitutes smart. We can see these differences all over the Mike Liut St. Louis Blues 1983 Ice Hockey T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this place – planning, manual work, personal interactions, language learning, math, money management, etc. You can find people who are geniuses in one and absolute idiots in another, or rather they have strengths in one or some but not others. I was a pretty nerdy kid growing up, and kinda looked down on folks who didn’t seem to know what I considered basic information. I remember going over to my brother’s friends house down the street and he and his friends and some of their various family members were there just hanging out and talking about sports. He has been a blue collar worker his whole adult life and has done quite well for himself and taking care of his wonderful family, and has been married for over 20 years and is sending his kids to college. That is smart and successful by any measure. I’m “book smart”, what most people think of when you talk about intellect. I was an honors student growing up, like your wife, but I also did a lot of extracurricular coursework through tutors, especially in math, English, and a few of the Mike Liut St. Louis Blues 1983 Ice Hockey T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this sciences. I took the ACT in 7th grade as part of an academic talent outreach program, and I beat the national average for high school seniors by 5 points—when I took it for real I got a perfect score. I won national scholarship contests. I even taught introductory-level calculus for a while, when one of my former high school’s math teachers had to take a six month leave for cancer treatments (she’s long since in remission and I was told that “my class” did great on the AP exams, so good news all around). Name a stereotypical nerd/child genius bona fide, and I probably have it.
