You did it right…while never judge a book by its cover comes to mind, if your gut told you to, you did it right. It’s hard to justify that, logically, but it’s the Michigan Football Bow Constrictor Shirt Besides,I will do this truth, ultimately. Whatever decision you made, you did so in your best interest… Yes, one job interview, sole proprietor Land Surveying firm. The jerk had a chair next to his desk, walked in late (a few minutes), looked at me, walked past his empty coat rack to his desk. Took of his coat and after a twirls flourish, gently laid it in the only other chair next to his desk, and the hat in the same chair. He then sat down behind his desk, and asked me to approach. The interview was entirely standing up behind him, looking at examples of papers and maps on his desk. He offered me the job, I declined. I ended up working for him through another employer as an in kind professional labor trade deal, and the dude was very extra. Spent 2 days with him fiddling here and there distracting his own crew from doing the field work he was supposed to have us work on. Ended up doing other tasks that were not in the “job description.” I went back to my boss and told him, never to work a deal like that again, and we didn’t.

Sometimes you just know when despite a good position the Michigan Football Bow Constrictor Shirt Besides,I will do this people you’d need to work with isn’t worth the effort. Another interview just before this one the same deal, small sole proprietor. Owner seemed pretty cool/laid back, looked like Conway Twitty… Anyway, we went and did a field work/demo as part of the interview, and the guy almost clipped my feet off with a saw bladed brush cutter…was a big NOPE for me. I walk back to my car, went home, didn’t even say good bye. Interesting opinions here. I would have made the move and continued searching for another position while collecting income and experience from the company, even if it had to be under a douche manager. Use the salary and benefits as collateral for your next position. I get being happy at work is important, but also sacrifice in the short term for long term gain is part of my philosophy… especially in this scenario. I accepted a job where she acted nice but was a 180 after starting. On my last week I saw her interviewing and the cycle began anew.
