I’d rate this a 6.75/10 and I really wish they had continued what they had done at the Manly Palmer Hall, Esoteric Alchemy Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this start of the movie and kept it to a crime noir thriller. Yeah I actually really liked how the riddler and batman we’re two sides of the same coin. They operated in extremely similar ways throughout the movie, ie the opening scene with binoculars and the scene where he went after the DA in the car. I genuinely couldn’t tell if it was Batman or the riddler in the beginning of both of those sequences. It really highlighted the morality to Batman’s no killing rule and showed that maybe the riddler could have been like Bruce if he grew up with someone like Alfred in his life and the corrupt system didn’t completely fail him. And then the flood completely pissed that away and turned it into a shittier version of the jokers third act.

Honestly this film was absolutely incredible. Well made on every front I can’t stress enough how much I disliked the Manly Palmer Hall, Esoteric Alchemy Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this conclusion of the Riddler’s plan. If you already planned to destroy the dam and flood Gotham (inocents included), why bother so much with corrupts in the first place? I was hoping for a conflict where people would support Riddler’s methods, because they’re tired of corruption screwing up their lives. I was wondering how Batman could deal with such a twisted morally instilled in peoples mind…but no, we got a villain trying to destroy the city. GreatRobert Pattinson was great as Batman. Paul Dano was excellent as The Riddler. But in my opinion, Colin Farrell absolutely stole the show as Penguin. What a phenomenal performance. i loved the movie but couldn’t shake the feeling that batman was the cause of at least a few people’s deaths on the highway after that massive explosion. he risked lives to catch the penguin only to let him go after? an awesome scene though. still a 10/10.
