Unrelated but I realised recently that my provider incorrectly set the Macho Forever art shirt But I will love this end date of my “2 year” contract to one day after it began. Realised after a couple of months, called them up, switched to a £10 monthly sim effectively saving over £1K in the process. I did an early upgrade over the phone with a mobile network. They sent me the new phone but the forgot to process the trade in collection. Just show ignorance. Pay what they ask for and say you don’t look at itemised billing, you just pay what they ask you for and leave it at that I’ve had negative bills before. Usually after changing my package or negotiating a better deal. It’s just their internal system doing stupid math with their inconsistent packages, discounts coming on and off to get to the price you were offered etc. Virgin is especially bad because their packages are so convoluted and promotions come and go. When I first signed up to Virgin I got a free TV and a package that included Netflix and Sky Sports. Removing Netflix would have raised my bill by £53! They can’t modify the promotional packages. In the end I just dropped to essential broadband, got rid of the TV package and just had basic broadband. This started a new contract which I then phoned to cancel before 14 days and we negotiated a deal back up to what I actually wanted. They put together a custom package and I’m now paying £26 a month for gigabit broadband and a phone line. Was paying £83 before, and I got a nice new TV I got to keep.

My bill is at -£13 at the Macho Forever art shirt But I will love this moment because all the wild discounts and adjustments are still sorting themselves out. Do NOT listen to anybody here. I am a law student and I remember a case similar to this. Not a very good law student mind, so I can’t say for definite but I’m fairly sure that the courts class this as theft which is a criminal offence. Please ask a legal advice subreddit instead, they’ll be able to give a better answer but I’m confident I remember a case where this was seen as theft Similar but not the same happened to me with Vodafone a few years ago. Got a call saying they wanted to lower my contract price to £27 for all 3 lines. I clarified it was the total for all 3 they said yeh, first bill comes and there’s no discount.
