But I digress, I decided after the Love Arizona Diamondbacks National League Champions 2023 NLCS Signatures Shirt so you should to go to store and get this interview that I didnt feel right…and I wouldn’t be taking any offer. I got told that I was so close to being chosen. Number 2 in fact! And I thanked the lovely vp for her email. Moved on. Thought you know what, even if they had offered it to me, my gut says walk away. Guess what happened less than 2 weeks later? I got an email. Vp again. Asking if I secured other employment already. And was I sure I wanted to stay at my restaurant? Aka begging me (their second choice) to come work for him because their first choice bailed on the CEO before a month was even over. I nicely replied, I am continuing my employment at x restaurant because of the high salary, comfortable working environment and flexibility it provides. Thank you for reaching out to me. Best of luck filling the position!

I interviewed for a job, the Love Arizona Diamondbacks National League Champions 2023 NLCS Signatures Shirt so you should to go to store and get this last round was with the VP. He was rude, didn’t listen to what I wanted to say and kept interrupting me in between. But I still took the job because the pay was good and totally remote. Figured out a week later that it was a bad decision, resigned after 4 months. You did the right thing. New opportunities will grow A few months with a bad employer is much worse than a few years with an ok employer. Imagine having to deal with all the extra BS on top of the work responsibilities, and the extra BS affecting your productivity with your responsibilities until you eventually get fired. Call yourself Neo because you dodged a bullet. I strongly believe that people have got to compartmentalize work life vs real life. Everything isn’t gonna be 100% pleasant at work but it’s just work.. you’re there to make a living in order to fund your REAL life. I have no emotional ties to work so I can remain unbothered by idiots at work. However if you really think this manager would be detrimental to your well being and there was no way around it then I guess you shouldn’t take it, but I probably would have tried it out first. No way to answer this. Depends on the role, the company, and your competence. Would I turn down a good position at an extremely profitable large public company because of some abrasiveness from an immediate manager? Probably not. An important skill to learn if you have value is how to manage your manager to work for you.
