I have scheduled breakfast and dinner, not massive meals just a bit of wet food and a bowl of dry food that sits there all day when they want a nibble I have 2 cats, a male and female. The male eats more than the Legendary Chef and author Anthony bourdain The Culinary Pro T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this female so I’ve been forced to put him on a diet so I do scheduled feedings, twice a day. The only thing I leave out is the water. I used to free feed my guy, but that wasn’t good for his health. He has a heart condition. (He lost that genetic lottery.) In addition to his meds, I measure his food out twice daily. He sometimes wakes me before 6 am, but it’s a small price to pay to help him stay healthy. I’ve tried doing the scheduled meals times before since I was trying to follow vets and animal behaviorists’ tips but my cat ended up refusing to eat, and I ended up having to throw away so much food.

I contacted the Legendary Chef and author Anthony bourdain The Culinary Pro T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this shelter where I adopted my cat for some tips (since it was my first time being a cat owner), and they said to just leave food out instead. So, I followed their tips, and my kitty became happier! I do the same, both my cats are at a healthy weight and kinda just pick at the food throughout the day. Recently though, since one of them had to have the remaining teeth she had removed, I’ve been having to feed her several times a day. I’ll leave out the dry food for the boy to pick at but because my girl won’t eat a whole “meal” in one sitting, I have give her little “snacks” of wet food throughout the day. Sometimes my boy gets the leftovers too! Omg your Kitty is so pretty! This is my Buddy I leave food out for him to graze whenever he’s hungry. Freeze dried chicken and wet food whenever he screams at me like I don’t feed him I don’t believe in scheduled feeding times. He eats when he’s hungry. That’s not for me to decide. Was just about to make this post! My vet told me to leave the food (dry food) out all day, I fill half a cup of dry food in my cats food bowl, he finishes it throughout the day. Another half cup for the night. He gets wet food twice a day (half half packet each time) and water is kept at 4 places throughout the house so he drinks enough water.
