If you do want career advancement, your best bet is to work with this lady rather than trying to compete with her. She has social skills you don’t. If you work with her, your work will magically become more visible. It’s also a way to build goodwill with someone who will likely be promoted in the Krampus Krossing Snow 2023 Christmas shirt Apart from…,I will love this near future. Maybe her features are taking longer because they are meatier and require the entire team. If you want to have more impact, you can talk to your manager about what you can do to broaden your scope and make yourself more visible. I don’t think you need to be a social butterfly or constantly brag, but take better advantage of opportunities to let people know about your accomplishments. Of course, any advice is easier said than done, especially since my own public persona is probably not that different from your office plant. stop focusing on her attractiveness. Soft skills are often just as important as technical skills, it’s clear her career path is towards management which she will probably excel at. She’s trying to get there quickly, don’t hate her because she’s a better player, hate the Krampus Krossing Snow 2023 Christmas shirt Apart from…,I will love this game. if she’s really incompetent and doesn’t want to be management then she is failing upwards. It’s a known phenomena in the world where incompetent people take on hard tasks, those end up going wrong and get lots of attention, then when it gets fixed the person who fucked up gets a lot of praise for fixing a big issue. Sounds like she’s motivated to advance her career, and you shouldn’t bash her for it. You might be perceiving her work output as slow or unsatisfactory, but it seems to be good enough for the people that end up calling the shots, and that’s ultimately what matters. If what she’s doing is actively hurting you (e.g taking over your feature), then definitely speak your concerns. But otherwise just let her fly. In fact, if you can, ask her for tips! It sounds like she deals with others well, and I don’t doubt that a closer rapport with her will ultimately be beneficial for you.
