In my case, I never even met the Kevin Love basketball player number 0 shirt so you should to go to store and get this cop who left a false ticket on my car. I literally had photographic evidence that it was false, but the ticket was for too small a fine to warrant a court appearance when I tried to appeal. Then, since I was now “late” in paying because I appealed, my fine quadrupled, and then it was too large for me to pay so I had to go on a payment plan – which meant needing to pay less all at once, but more in the long run. I paid several hundred dollars because of a police officer’s lie. I am so very “fortunate” compared to all the people harmed or killed, people arrested and losing their jobs over missing work, people with records impacting the rest of their life even if they committed no crime, etc.

But still, it confirmed for me that a.) police officers can and will lie, and b.) institutions will not always give you due process, which means c.) even if you have literal evidence of that lie, you won’t always get justice for it; having the Kevin Love basketball player number 0 shirt so you should to go to store and get this truth on your side doesn’t matter. Wait, was the fine so low they didn’t give you a court date to make your appeal? How the fuck is that even legal? When I was only 10 or 11, I was riding my bike in early spring in Ontario on the sidewalk because there was ice and snow all along the sides of this road, and it was a major road, multiple lanes in each direction. A car full of teens waiting to pull onto the road waved for me to go ahead and then hit me with their car when I did.
