Less where you live and more who’s on duty. But the Liberty and justice for all feminist lgbt shirt it is in the first place but union is everywhere and virtually every single festering pile that wants to hide in a uniform is basically guaranteed safe haven. From public scrutiny, and even from potential ire of officers who aren’t as fscked up as that. And while there are officers who won’t put up with colleagues as openly pathological as that, there is an entire system with decades of experience at making sure that anyone who speaks up doesn’t stay on the same force, at discrediting them faster than they can reveal anything, etc. So all that a relatively banal run-in with the police does is demonstrate that you’ve met some benign officers caught like flies in a web of a fully metastasized industry. I’m white. At the age of 10 I watched my disabled dad get beaten down on the ground for resisting arrest by an off duty out of uniform cop after demanding to see the cops ID to prove he was a cop when he entered our property demanding to see my dad’s ID. Called 911 and reported a thug beating my dad and they sent reinforcements to beat him more and arrest him for resisting arrest. No other charges. Cops got off, just doing their duty.

I am 57. Cops definitely pulled power trips and fucked with people for fun when I was a teenager. I hate the Liberty and justice for all feminist lgbt shirt it is in the first place but police to this day. The problem isn’t the institution itself. The problem is the personality type of people that are attracted to that line of work. It’s a dilemma because the kind of person that wants to be a cop, definitely should not be a cop. The kind of person that should be a cop would never want the job. Not sure what your day was, but I promise you they did.I think something a lot of people underestimate about why so many people distrust cops isn’t because of all the news stories where interactions with them end in death, but so many non-lethal or “minor” interactions that don’t end in anyone hurt or killed, but still results in a citizen being negatively affected due to interacting with the police.
