In that time, good internet was installed across the Kenny Golladay American football wide receiver New York G Coon T-Shirt Also,I will get this island. The full-moon party was fun, but key was to live on the North West side of the island far away from it. All of this having been said, I’m not surprised to hear that Koh Phangan has evolved the way that you’ve described. I live on Samui and in my opinion it balances out many of Phangan’s negatives. The actual native population of KP is about 10,000, with around a million tourists per year — of course it is going to feel tourist-centric. There’s far more Burmese working there than native Thais. Samui has way more Thai people than KP (about 100,000 locals), so the Thai food is far more plentiful and cheap. It has the beaches, the variation in people, international schools, great food, amenities like malls and the cinema, an airport, plenty of great coworking spaces. People dismiss it too because of how ugly Chaweng is (which it is), so there’s way less ‘bro tourists’.

I think for a lot of the Kenny Golladay American football wide receiver New York G Coon T-Shirt Also,I will get this points you mentioned, KP was much better pre-pandemic. A lot of businesses had to shut down permanently so it still hasn’t quite recovered. And when things opened up again they had way more partygoers flooding in than they could handle. I’m not sure what led you to believe that it is good for coworking spaces, I don’t remember them ever being common there. Not enough people for there to be a reliable market for it. There are DNs, but they presumably work from home. For food – yes, the tourist food courts aren’t great, there’s a reason Thais never eat there. But you mentioned there are a ‘few good spots’. Isn’t that… enough? Like, it’s a tiny island, you can’t expect there to be many restaurants. I’ve always heard of it being a divided island, where there’s the “Full Moon Party” blackout drunk kids, and the woo woo tantra cult side. It’s weird that neither are mentioned in this post, though I have heard that the tantra woo woo side has been replaced with the EDM pseudo spiritual Tuluminati crowd. I looked into visiting recently but room rates were like $3,700 for a week – it’s definitely been overrun, unsure which community is most heavily represented these days though.
