Parties: I touched a bit on that previously. I tried 2 parties: Oxa Beach and Samsara. Be mindful that I’m not very picky regarding electronic music, but I like darker styles. I found both of those parties pretty meh. A mix of annoying people, boring music and overpriced drinks. Food isn’t that great: There ARE some good spots, but on average i found food to be pretty disappointing, especially in those big food courts. Koh Phangan is a beautiful place with lots to offer, but it’s not without its downsides.party wise, you went to the Jameson Williams American football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions Big Play Jamo T-Shirt and I will buy this “main stream” events. of course they suck. there is actually a pretty good underground scene on KP. The east side of the island would have been better. guys bar is great! surprisingly, “jungle party” is also good. This. Koh Phangan has weekly tourist rushes for the half/full/quarter moon parties, where (mostly) Westerners come out to do drugs and party and be annoying. But that stuff is mostly concentrated on the west and south of the island. There are chiller vibes to the north and east.

I also didn’t see OP mention kite or wind surfing, which is a huge omission. Near perfect conditions to learn either, very affordably, and with beautiful scenery to boot. It’s an island, bro. Don’t forget to enjoy the Jameson Williams American football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions Big Play Jamo T-Shirt and I will buy this beaches, natural beauty, fishing, etc. I personally found it one of the more beautiful and enjoyable places to just throw on a daypack and explore by scooter as well. I was there for a couple of months 10 years ago. Back then, it was crawling with yoga sex-cult weirdos. But the scenery was beautiful, and I lay in a hammock coding and getting ready to launch a new project. It was the most productive 6-8 weeks of my life. On a beach, in a hammock, with a laptop. That stereotype picture that people say isn’t conducive to work. Sure it is. I’m just glad I got to visit KPN when I first did, in 2001. When I returned in 2006 it had already changed considerably, and not for the better.
