These surface level thoughts and images eventually clear out though and I become more “mindless”. But during this stage there are still things that pop into my consciousness. They’re usually vivid imagery, eyes, colors, deeper nature thoughts (more philosophical), and thoughts that have had time to further embed into my mind (death, love, loved ones, fears, aspirations, goals, god etc, and “why’s”). Most of the Just A Girl Jeep Who Loves Jeep And Beach Shirt it is in the first place but time I observe these thoughts and let them pass, but sometimes I choose to give a thought it’s time in the light. This usually leads to me getting some type of insight that I can apply to my life later. And the insight I get from giving a thought time in this state, isn’t from the thinking we normally do that involves alot of conscious effort, in this state it’s almost like effortless thinking and just letting the thought run it’s course. Also with the fact that u can find meaning in everything, and yes ik that can lead to delusion, but it can also lead to impactful insights as many old proverbs and parables are just ppl deriving meaning and wisdom from simple observations like the way a certain plant grows.

Ultimately in my meditation I do reach a mindless state where the Just A Girl Jeep Who Loves Jeep And Beach Shirt it is in the first place but typical conscious self seems to have disappeared and I’m just sitting, and yes I probably could reach that faster without engaging and dismissing any inner thoughts, themes, and patterns as mind chatter. BUT why would I want to? Why is the speed in which I reach that state so important? Also while u are not ur thoughts, there is still a reason why the thoughts that inhabit ur consciousness are different from the next person or animal over. And I think there is value in being aware of what thoughts are inside of u, what things lie deep in ur consciousness, and sometimes engaging with them. Like having a tour of ur inner mind and speaking to some of the locals occasionally, IMO and my experience it has helped me better know myself and the why’s of why I do things, why certain things give me certain emotional reactions, etc. Now I don’t wanna get lost in the sauce of my mental jungle but I don’t wanna fully ignore all the trees I’m passing by.
