My meditations are going to look so different from the Just A 60 Doctor Who Loves Music Guitar Heartbeat Shirt Apart from…,I will love this next type of person and so on. I wouldn’t want my meditations in the same type of way if I didn’t have them set up the way that they are, if I didn’t have my devotion I would be a different person. If I never started to work on witness consciousness I never could have incorporated all that I am into my work with my emotions rationally… I would have been stuck on “am I doing rn?” Imagine what it’d be like if you were meditating in front of someone else, imagine if you had a dead loved one watching you meditate, what if you felt it as real enough and went as if it was. For some people that’s going to be a million times more profound than simple meditation then they could learn how to do something else FASTER, they could create dispassion that way instead of just meditating for 20 years first. Meditation without kriyas?? Goodness gracious, thank god for kriyas. Then here we are where like 1% of the world is engaged with that kind of lifestyle (probably less), and the other portion of the planet doesn’t believe it, doesn’t hear about it, think that monks are doing nothing to get away from wanting because it’s against their religion, or they’re scared/unhealthy.

Not even 3 years and I’ve made so much progress I’m essentially doped up on painpills, cept I like it better! Almost 6 hours of that today, so I hear you… Reddit seems to have a higher number of people who are absolutists. There’s only one right way…the Just A 60 Doctor Who Loves Music Guitar Heartbeat Shirt Apart from…,I will love this way they were taught. I notice it in the shutting down conversation about ideas. Not even wild ideas. Kind of crazy really!! But as long as 1 person can benefit from it and explore new possibilities, I guess that’s all that really matters. The way I see it, labeling every thought, sensation, or experience u have as ur meditating as useless monkey mind chatter is extremely reductive to what ur mind is. Usually at the start of my meditation there’s a lot of “mind-chatter” that I view as on the surface of my consciousness. I let them go and come but NOTICING the thoughts and themes popping up is like a reflection of what information and media I’ve been spending my energy on feeding my mind, so if I’m feeding my mind junk it’s almost like “here’s ur junk back” lol.
