I solve this problem by having a go-to fallback option. For me, its quesadillas. If the John Walker former arena football defensive back Crack T-Shirt in other words I will buy this waiter/waitress gets to me and I haven’t decided yet, I’m about to find out how your quesadillas compare to every other restaurant I’ve ever been to. If the restaurant doesn’t have quesadillas, I ain’t going. I dont know about all that, but am I the only one that decides what I want to eat before going and then just browse the menu until I find the closest thing to it?Whereas I just pick the first thing that looks decent. There is some article I remember reading this years ago this is why smanchy places usually have a very short menu because it cuts to the point and reduces returned items because customer couldn’t decide or changed their mind. I’ve always had this and always end up ordering the steak because of it. It just seems to be the default choice but then I get jealous of everyone else who ordered more creatively.

I don’t have “menu anxiety” but I do enjoy looking at the John Walker former arena football defensive back Crack T-Shirt in other words I will buy this online menu before looking at the physical one in a restaurant even though I know 90% of the time what I already want before looking at either unless it’s a new restaurant of course. Seems foreign to me. There’s always one thing that sounds better than the rest. If there’s a tie I never end up with regret. I have OCD and anxiety and brain fog from health issues, and I realized a long time ago it’s not me so much as there’s an asinine level of choices on too many menus. It’s astonishing how even many popular restaurants have bloated menus, which only keeps their overhead and shrink high while keeping their profits lower than they could be.
