Choosing became so hard, that I eventually had to create a calendar for which Tacos I’m going to have on which day of the Jaylin Smith American football linebacker College Vertical T-Shirt besides I will buy this week. What if I want to sit down and just have a drink for a little before I look at the menu? Nope, they want to rush you out so they can get as many tables as they can. Anxiety? Oh I wonder why… I used to work in restaurants and one of the things that made me kind of hate them is the whole customers ordering off menus things just isn’t the best way to do dining. Overall restaurants in general are not great places for dining. Anyone soft enough to admit to having “menu anxiety” should be kicked right off the top of the fucking food chain. There are several options. You ask the person next to you what they’re ordering and order that. Or you give yourself 20 seconds to decide, scan the menu and pick something. Then you look at what someone else has ordered and realize that you wish you would have ordered that. It makes no difference whether you made your choice in 20 seconds or ten minutes. The outcome is the same: someone else made a better choice. Paralysis by choice is a thing. When confronted by too many choices to give reasonable analysis to each choice, people respond by not choosing any. A lot of people do the review the menu just to make sure all parties included will eat the food at that establishment. For some reason I always have to read off directly from the menu what I want or else I panic and can’t remember what I wanted to order

Damn. I obsessively review the Jaylin Smith American football linebacker College Vertical T-Shirt besides I will buy this menu, decide what I want, mentally rehearse interactions, and then end up never going because I’m too exhausted by that point (prior the menu obsession is the restaurant choice obsession) . Do I have anxiety? Haha I do that sometimes when trying to decide where to eat. But also, I’ve been in situations where I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat at a restaurant (can either be that nothing on the menu appeals to me, or there’s too many choices and I can’t make up my mind). Overall I wouldn’t say it gives me anxiety, unless it’s because I’ve asked the server a couple of times to give me a few more minutes, or if other people are with me and are waiting on me so they can order. If I can browse a menu online before I go that helps narrow things down a bit.
